The Heritage of Children is a superb work by Betty Roe for Solo Soprano, SATB choir, children’s choir, Oboe and Organ. Ten fantastic works by various poets have been beautifully set to music; including William Blake, Ben Jonson, William Wordsworth and Charles Causley.

This work was commissioned by Liz and Brian Marcel to mark the adoption of their Roumanian daughter Jessica. It was first performed on November 20th 1994 at St. James Norlands Church London.
