There is some exceptional music in this volume, especially the three Elgar pieces. ("My love dwelt in a Northern land" being my favourite.) I run a reasonably good SATB adult choir and we use this book a lot for our concert performances.
In an anthology of 30 songs, inevitably there are some that I myself would not have included. Nevertheless, the book is still very good value.
