Rating Review
Customer Rating This is a classic book to start with and gives a good grounding in Classical Guitar.

Customer Rating This is an great book to help you into the guitar world. It shows scales and arpeggios and how to play notes that will be useful when taking exams, starting at intial. I have completed all of the exams from intial to grade 8 and I found that using this book first gave me a great start!

Customer Rating Very easy to understand, as the lessons progress in the book, simple explanations as to how the notes are played. Preparation and timing is also covered and shown to be important before any tunes are played, and practice is seen as the important foundation

Customer Rating A very good starting point for the solo guitarist.

Customer Rating Having been taught to play piano and cello I decided I'd quite like to learn guitar myself, so I wanted a book which would teach me the basics in a comprehensive way. This book is very good for that.
However, I don't know how a complete novice would find it - ie someone who had never played an instrument or who had no prior knowledge of music.
It's definitely worth a look though and you'll be surprised how quickly you feel like you've made progress.
