Expand you guitar technique with these Musicians Institute Private Lessons as Jean Marc Belkadi shows how to apply slap bass techniques to the guitar. Learning this distinctive funky and rhythmic style, popularised by the likes of Louis Johnson, Marcus Miller, Victor Wooten and Mark King can add some spice to solos and riffs whilst honing your control, articulation and dexterity. This detailed method includes fifty-two licks and lessons in both standard notation and tablature.

The accompanying CD includes demo tracks of all examples and exercises in the book.

Rating Review
Customer Rating Slap and pop for guitar is unfortunately a slightly decieving name for this book. It does not have any instruction on the techniques used for slap and pop, and assumes a vast prior knowledge of the style. The CD tracks are way too fast to enable you to learn. I am an accomplished guitarist and have not managed to progress much using this book.

This book is probably ideal for accomplished guitarists who have previous slap and pop experience.
