Customer Rating This is an amazing book (I would've thought) and I'd recommend it any day!

Customer Rating Would recommend both company and Teach Yourself Keyboard DVD.

DVD arrived promptly, in good condition, easy transaction. DVD was a present for my husband, he was very pleased with it and within an hour was starting to play a tune

Customer Rating I've recently been inspired to dig out my sister's old Yamaha from the loft after listening to some great songs which include the piano/keyboard.

Having never played before, I decided that I needed a starting point to get me going with the basics, and this DVD is ideal! Originally I bought a book from Amazon, but I found reading it totally boring, so I felt that a DVD would be a better option, and it was.

The DVD and book supply you with all the fundamental elements of keyboard playing, such as where to place your fingers, locating the all important middle c, and learning a few simple pieces. I was playing 'Frère Jacques' within about half an hour of putting on the DVD.
You are also taught to read some simple music notes, but I find it easier to translate the notes from the guitar onto the keyboard. You can find songs such as 'light my fire' on musicroom which have been arranged for the guitar (tab), but consist of the same keyboard notes. happy days!
