Description

Unlock the secrets of this stunning and highly characteristic instrument with the help of a true Dulcimer master. The beauty of the instrument is such that even a novice can entice sweet tones and simple tunes almost immediately. For an experienced player, the Dulcimer is rich, complex, versatile and highly expressive.
Starting with tuning up, Schnaufer covers your first scales, fingerings and strumming techniques. You'll then learn accompaniments to some of country music's greatest melodies, including adding chords and harmony. There are several beautiful arrangements of classics including Tennessee Waltz and I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry that will open up new doors in your playing and musicianship, giving you the tools to really expand your abilities with this wonderful instrument.

Rating Review
Customer Rating This tuition DVD is nicely produced and clearly presented. However, if you are a total beginner with no knowledge of chords it is not for you. There is no mention of the use of a noter on the melody string only, for example - the easiest for the beginner to play a tune almost immediately.
