This progresses at a good rate for 7 - 9 year olds, I have had great success with pupils using this method.

Some lovely pupil/teacher duets.

The tunes are very enjoyable for beginning students. And the duets are fun for older beginners to play as sight-reading at their lessons.

Musicroom Reviews

Rating Review
Customer Rating My 8 yr old daughter is teaching herself to play the piano and has already worked her way through the 1st 2 books in the series. She loves the easy layout and the methodical steps. The bright pictures, questions and games make it engaging and fun for children. Great series of music books for youngsters. She is already looking forward to the next book!

Customer Rating A great book for young players. Colourful and fun to use.

Customer Rating This is a fantastic little book - a selection of really good short pieces which I use to reinforce reading of the music once we have got close to the end of Tunes for Ten Fingers. It spans TTF and More TTF nicely - its pieces gradually having more sharps and flats to watch out for. I also like that we can try to imagine how a tune about a gymnast, or a snowman might sound and I can encourage even young pupils to add character and dynamics to their playing.

Customer Rating This book is fun - love the puzzles as do the children; a very easy way of gauging the children's fuller understanding of the notation of music.
