Adding the setting and context to the piece enhances the playing. Good for grade 7-8 players. Lovely lyrical piece!

Musicroom Reviews

Rating Review
Customer Rating Syrinx (La Flute de Pan)is a truly magical, mystical piece. This piece should be a part of every flautists repitoire.

Customer Rating Wye has produced a very interesting and informative copy of Debussy's 'Syrinx' (a piece I have always loved, and never dared to play!), including much of the background and story behind the music, as well as Debussy's orginal thoughts on performance techniques and phrasing, enabling the musician to produce a 'true to composer' performance, if they wish. Money well spent; I can't wait to start playing!
