This highly respected, best-selling violin course in four books is used all over the world. Ideal for group or Individual tuition, it offers a practical foundation in good playing techniques, based around popular melodies. The passages for Teacher (Violin) may be played in addition to, or instead of the piano accompaniments.

Rating Review
Customer Rating I am a parent of a young violin student. I thought this item was rather pricey when I bought it but it has made a huge and immediate difference to my child's violin learning experience. After fewer than 10 lessons, we are playing piano and violin together using this book and the student book and my child is asking for more! The accompaniments are full and even have semiquavers at places, allowing the student to play very slowly and still get a lovely sounding performance which we hope to play at a school concert soon. Every piece is accompanied, even the exercises and scales. It has a relatively high technical requirement from the pianist (my very rough guess is perhaps Grade 5 or 6) but if you have this level it is well worth it. There are 'simpler' versions as well which are mostly crotchets (so same pace as the violin) but not for all the pieces. If you do not play the piano yourself, check with the violin teacher whether he/she would be interested in using it for lessons before you spend the money on it. Because of the complexity of the music, it may distract the teacher from watching the student's technique so may not be ideal for lessons (depends on teacher).
