Description

Two charming and factual mini-musicals for young children. Each musical has five songs with linking narration. Tadpole Rag tells in words and song the life cycle of the frog, an important topic at school. It can be performed as a costumed mini-musical with lots of fun movements and dance, or as a concert piece.Caterpillar Boogie describes the life cycle of the butterfly, again an important topic at this age. There is plenty of scope for creative design, movement, dance and singing. Duration: 15 minutes each.

Script available in student book.

You will require a license to perform this work at your school/youth theatre; please click here for more information and our application form.

Customer Rating I have performed the Caterpillar Boogie Musical on two occasions, both times being with foundation stage children. The children looked so colourful dressed in beautiful caterpillar, bird and butterfly masks and we linked the work with our topic on life cycles.
I thoroughly enjoyed playing the Piano for the musical. There was not a dry eye amongst the staff or older pupils.

Customer Rating My year one children adore this book. We're doing the butterfly life cycle and they just can't stop wriggle, wriggle, wriggling around when they sing the songs! I love the music - simple but still sounds really good. Can't wait to do the frog life cycle next year.
