Customer Reviews

Rating Review
Customer Rating A good selection from Deep Purple's catalogue which would be better if more songs and a backing track CD were included.
As a guitarist I headed straight for the lead solo from "Smoke on the water". The main licks are all pretty accurate even though the notation is not 100% correct. Some parts give the right notes but not necessarily in the right positions on the guitar fret-board. So my advice is, if it feels wrong; try playing it in another position on the neck.
The same problem arises on most of the other tracks, however; a little effort in smoothing out the positioning of the riffs and the runs that join them together and you'll be playing like Blackmore in no time at all.
Happy Rocking.
