Rating Review
Customer Rating The classic film themes in this book should suit pianists who are more mature teenagers and adults. Some pieces are Grade 2 or so level (Like "Lara's Theme" in E flat major, and the love theme from "Out of Africa"), while others are more Grade 3/4 (like "Back to the Future" which presents changes of time signature, accidental-laden chords, and triplets, as well as 8va in the left hand which requires more than a 5 octave keyboard, and "Raiders of the Lost Ark" with its few bars of interesting timing). The keyboard chordings above the treble clef provide valuable clues for those adventurous enough to improvise the left hand to augment meagre harmony. My students like the book well enough.
Anon.

Customer Rating I really bought this for the "Out of Africa" music, but the piece in the book was different so a bit disappointed. Also "Breakfast at Tiffany's was different. Haven't looked much further than that.
