Designed for the classroom and private study, the FJH Recorder For Everyone series addresses the National Standards for Music Education.
With this series the beginning Recorder student will learn to perform both solos and duets. Lyrics are provided for many recognisable songs and singing along with the group is encouraged. Reading music, notating music, conducting and basic composition skills are introduced and all new concepts are clearly explained with interesting musical examples.
The level 1 Recorder books develop rhythm up to eighth notes and dotted quarters. The keys of C, Am, G and F are introduced.
This first method book comes complete with a play-along CD, containing recordings of all of the featured tracks played by a professional Recorder player with Piano accompaniment. The CD contains a Piano-only part and a bonus track is also included - featuring a professional Recorder ensemble performing on four different types of Recorders.
The FJH Recorder Method For Everyone: Book 1 features a wonderful variety of music, including classical themes, folksongs and multi-cultural melodies.
Three informative icons are used throughout the books in the FJH Recorder Method For Everyone series:
