The book leads the pupil to explore the piano and to play easy little tunes immediately without the restrictions of having to interpret notation, this comes later. It also encourages correct hand position and technique. The pupil experiences making music right from the start with teacher duets to accompany the little tunes.

Newbury GB Music Teacher
Focuses on good piano technique rather than just note reading.
I would have preferred the Anglicised version, and didn't realise this was available until I had received this. Not sure that the way of introducing the notes on the stave will work - I will try it and see!

GB Music teacher and parent
An excellent approach for teaching young children, focusing first on fingers, then timing, then note names and finally staff reading. So inspiring for children to be playing proper tunes almost from the start.
Why did they rename Yankee Doodle Happy Day? It annoys every student who plays it!
