In the Playing With Colour Series the student will experience coloured notation from page 1, using numbered staves as well as clear graphic illustrations for the right and left hands, so making music starts immediately. Thereafter, theory, rhythm, ear training, improvisation and sight-reading exercises are gradually introduced so the student has the best possible platform on which to build.

Playing With Colour Book 1 includes many imaginative original pieces like; Waiting for a Train; Hopscotch; and the inevitable Raindrop song, but also familiar classics like: Humpty Dumpty; Ba Ba Black Sheep; Oranges & Lemons; Jingle Bells.

Excellent, intuitive introduction to the piano. Teaches children how to use patterns in the music to help them read the music. Good for younger learners and less confident older learners.
