Description

Go back to basics with Tanglewood Sundance Natural guitars. These instruments have been stripped back to the essential ingredients that make a great guitar: design, quality and sound. Natural satin finishes combined with solid open pore soundboard wood allow the tone to shine, while maple binding to the body and fretboard adds the finishing touch to the otherwise frill-free design.

This TW15 OP CE Super Folk bodied acoustic Guitar provides a smaller, more wieldy body compared to a dreadnought. It comes fitted with a Fishman Presys pickup system for easy amplification, cutaway for improved upper-fret access and a pick guard to protect the top from heavy strumming. Comfortable to hold with a sweet sound to boot.

The Tanglewood Sundance T45 OP E. What can I say other than what a spectacular instrument I now possess! The high quality Elixir strings gave me a brilliant tone right out of the box and the action was perfect. Bar chords ring off of the fret board without the slightest hint of buzz. The guitar itself is extremely light and has a sturdy yet beautiful build. The open pore wood allows the sound to resonate perfectly from the sound box. When amplified, the Sundance sounds superbly natural and the Fishman pre-amp with built in tuner suits me perfectly. In short, I cannot fault this guitar and I look forward to playing her at many gigs in the future!

The Tanglewood Sundance TW45 is an excellent guitar which is exactly what I expect from such a distinguished brand. The open pore wood allows the sound to resonate naturally and vibrantly. In keeping with Tanglewood's philosophy of sound and feeling before look and popularity, the guitar looks undemonstrative and is also very light and easy to play standing or seated. The action was perfect right out of the box and with the high quality Elixir strings, the notes just ring off of the fret board without a hint of buzz. This guitar comes with a top of the range Fishman pre-amp which delivers a natural and clean amplified sound. It also has a very useful built in tuner and phase control. Acoustically, the Sundance sings loud for its size and the tone is very
warm. If you're looking for a sturdy, reliable guitar with a beautiful sound and feel to do your private practice or for gigging, I highly recommend the Sundance.
