Customer Rating A very useful little book, little being an appropriate word! The size of the book is very small and could do with being larger. However, there is room for some practice notes on each page, a pre-printed stave along the bottom and a series of musical notes for each day of the week that can be ticked for practise. A very nice idea! Overall, it is very good value for money as it costs the same as a plain notebook of a similar size.

Customer Rating I like this book as there is (just about) enough space to write notes about what was done in the lesson and what needs to be done at home, and a stave on every page if you need to write any musical notes. I've bought one for each of my pupils and both I and the students find them very useful.

Customer Rating The saying "less is more" describes these books

I write short to the point practice tips and don`t need reams of pages as pupils of all ages respond best to bullet points!
Kids and adults alike fill in the practice boxes which helps me.
All my pupils from 4 - 75 have one.

Customer Rating Small and compact
Excellent value
Small stave, notes section and daily practice boxes
I use these for older children and adults
For little ones I use the Chester books as these have a box to tick to say how good they have been which they all love

Customer Rating A great little book. Not too much space, but adequate for beginners. A little tick-box for practice sessions is a good incentive to the little ones! At 50 pence, it's a bargain!

Customer Rating I teach piano to young children and I find this little book very useful. There's just enough room for comments, staves for jotting down new notes and the children love to tick which days they've been practising, I feel it gives them motivation to practise even more. They always go home smiling when I've written something good about their playing in this little blue book!

Customer Rating Very useful practice book!

Customer Rating For the price this is a good incentive to practice more. It is only a small book however and more advanced students might find it lacks space when they have a larger repertoire.

Customer Rating I use this with all my music pupils, young and old. There is space for the pupils to enter how much they have practised, and room for me to write the week's practice items, with a small section of stave at the bottom in case any musical notation is needed. I also use the books to put reward stickers on. Very useful and good value.

Customer Rating I don't use the Hal Leonard method books, have just found these practice books to be really handy - I buy a stack every time I order other stuff!

They're just a simple, cheap way to record what you've covered in the lesson and what should be worked on for next time. The double stave at the bottom of each page is great for noting down little bits to practice.

Younger students like the responsibility of marking the days they've practiced, some get very serious about making sure they've done some playing each day so they can colour them all in!

Well worth 50p each!!

Customer Rating v cheap, but needs double staples to stop covers falling off. Covers one year of school instrumental tuition which is handy!

Customer Rating All my pupils use the Hal Leonard practice record book. They find it useful to track what they are practicing each week. It is also handy as a teacher to use at the following lesson to check that all the homework has been done!

Customer Rating Superb size - writing too much on a big page is overwhelming so this ensure teachers like me write less and more quality.

Small stave and boxes to tick!

Customer Rating This is just right. Cheaper than a plain notebook. Enough space to write reminders for practice, useful stave on each page, and notes to colour each day. The book is small and light, so easy to store in music case, and lasts for a whole season, so is a useful record of progress, too.

Customer Rating Adaptable for any instrument. Has sufficient space to make notes for the student as to what they must focus on in their practicing, plus small treble and bass stave on every page for reminders about notes, rests, etc. The child/parent completes the daily record of how much practice done. Good size, excellent price.

Customer Rating Good book to give to pupils because it has space to write what you expect them to practice and one line of manuscript for any extra theory. Also like the space at the side for pupils to write how much time they spent practicing.

Customer Rating These are so useful; I must have bought hundreds over the past ten years I've been teaching music. There's just enough space to write the week's practice notes and younger (and sometimes older!) pupils enjoy logging their practice times.

Customer Rating A very useful notebook. Having s small section of the Stave is very handy, either for explaining of for note naming. The small page keeps my practise notes concise. I will be buying more of these for other students.
