Rating Review
Customer Rating An excellent piece! This work is extraordinarily enjoyable both to play and listen to. Alternately proud, jaunty, reverent, solemn, joyous, and triumphant, the Horovitz concerto provides plenty of opportunity for lyricism and expression, while also giving enough of a technical challenge to keep things interesting. As a college music major and professional musician, I must say that this is one of my personal favorite pieces to play. To me it is almost a celebration. The second movement in particular is quite dear to my heart. So gorgeously lyrical and reverent, it positively brings tears to my eyes. The pride and carefree feel of the first movement and the triumph of the third also shine. This piece is truly a joy.
