I got a lot out of this DVD! The presenter explains clearly and logically what Hendrix was doing. 4 stars, rather than 5 because I do question the accuracy of a few things he does - for example, the solo in Purple Haze is transcribed differently in this DVD from Stuart Bull's version on a different DVD from the same maker, and different again from the signature Licks transcription! What he does during the verses of Hey Joe and Little Wing doesn’t bear much relation to other transcriptions - musically, it is all fine, but not exactly what Hendrix did.

Overall, however, if you want to sound pretty much like Hendrix and learn 5 great tracks, this is for you!
