Description

Part 3 of this great set of tutors to help the younger musician master the Keyboard. Packed with entertaining illustrations by Ann Lee, the book features large-print notation and a CD of demonstrations that the student may listen to for reference or play along with.
The third book of the series introduces seventh chords, minor chords and the notes of B-flat and F-sharp, with dozens of easy tunes and funny songs.

Customer Rating This book is lovely and colourful for young children. But, it is a big step up from books 1 and 2 in this series. Too many chords are introduced, and a lot of new keys (G, F and D majors, G and D minors) with not enough explanations or examples in each key. My pupils who have used this book found it hard. Also, letter names of notes are written in, inhibiting proper music reading. I use it with my pupils when they have done books 1 and 2 and Supplementary Songbook A, for want of a better alternative, but I supplement it with other material too.
