Customer Rating What's best about this book is that it provides the young percussionist with a good introduction to tuned percussion playing. The examples I admit are very easy, but that's the point!!!! It allows youngsters to participate in music making from day one due to the CD accompaniment. It is possibly the only book available in the U.K. that is actually any good for it's target audience(young, novice percussionists)and I should know as I've spent some time looking for suitably graded material in method book form for my peripatetic teaching. The book price is reasonable too, but I feel the CD is a little pricey, especially concidering you need TWO for each book.(I don't use it in band class,just for group lessons).
