Our Songs is a collection of hymns and songs for Catholic primary schools that aims to bring together music which will encourage children searching for a living, vibrant faith.
These songs and hymns, which touch the core of Catholic faith, provide a resource for assemblies, Mass and class work. All the favourites are included plus excellent new material. Children will find much that reflects their youthful enthusiasm for life and all that is good, just and wholesome.
Our Songs show children a loving god, who is involved with and cares creation. Promoting positive images of God, the world and humanity, not by denying the reality of negative things in creation, and in ourselves, but by seeing them all in the glorious context of an unconditionally loving god, creator of a fundamentally good world, and humanity made in his image.
The Piano or Keyboard accompaniments have all been specially arranged to be manageable by players of approximately grade 2 standard. Guitar chords are given for every song.
