A founding member of both Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna, Jack Casady presents his celebrated Bass style for you to learn. With the aid of bandmate Jorma Kaukonen on guitar and vocals, Casady gives you a candid insight into his approach. Six of his greatest Bass parts are dissected and explored as Casady demonstrates his favourite techniques including:

- Comping
- Vibrato
- Tonal variations
Casady explains how the combination of these techniques, coupled with a good knowledge of the fretboard, can be used to create basslines that build in excitement and energy.
