Aaron Copland: Piano Sonata

Copland’s Piano Sonata is one of his finest works, if not the most famous or popular. The concentration of expression and variety of atmosphere and mood stand out amongst his creations, and in typical Copland fashion he manages to strike the balance between dry wit and seriousness.
