I started as an adult beginner on The Classic Piano Course Book 1 but quickly felt I wanted more challenging but achievable pieces. Book 2 gave me just that, pieces that were familiar, not too easy but not too difficult either. This book built naturally upon the first course extending my understanding of musical notation and my early skills as a piano. I'd recommend both books to any other adult beginner who really wants to learn but doesn't want to be patronised in the process!
