Find a stud (supporting member in a light-frame construction wall) where you want your Grip to hang. Drill a 3/16th starter hole into stud.
Take the wall mounting screw that came with your Grip Guitar Hanger and screw the flat headed end into your hanger so that the wall screw portion (pointed end) is protruding approximately 1 1/2 inches from the hanger felt bottom.
Proceed to screw in your hanger into the wall.
Continue to turn your hanger until it tightens against the wall and then position it where your guitar will hang level.
Make adjustments as needed.
Mounting your hanger into drywall (not into a stud) voids all warranty claims.
