Customer Rating Absolutely gorgeous piece. This is a beautiful setting of Kipling's 'The Seal Lullaby' in which Whitacre creates the most amazing harmonies that are challenging to rehearse and breathtakingly atmospheric in performance. This arrangement for SSA is just as good as (if not better than!) the SATB original, which is hardly ever the case. Highly recommended!

Customer Rating A beautiful song. It, inevitably, loses some of its glory in this SSA version compared with the SATB original.
Whitacre is the "kid on the block" for the time being.
