Staff Reviews

Staff Rating This is a quiality instrument with a warm but delicate tone. The maple back and sides add a richness to the sound of the lower strings but also accomodates a bright tone on the upper A and E string. The adjusters on the violin are practical to use and accomodate a ball-end string (the most common available). One of the main advantages of this instrument is the quiality of the bow. It has a good balance and creates enough weight on the string without being to heavy. Its slightly slimmer frame is an advantage for younger or smaller players. Perfect for late classical/romantic repertoire because of its tone quality, particularly on the lower strings.
