Description
Mahler's Symphony No.4 In G Major was written at the turn of the century, between 1899 and 1901. It is comprised of four movements for a small orchestra, which last around one hour (The shortest of the symphonies composed by Mahler).
This work features on the 2010 A Level Syllabus.
First performed on November 25th, 1901 in Munich, and first recorded in May 1930 by the New Symphony Orchestra of Tokyo.
