The mid-range compact combo amplifier in the Marshall MG series is still packed with features, including a tuner, phaser, flanger, chorus, delay and reverb, and as always, a fantastic Marshall sound.
You can choose from two different channels; clean or over-driven. Both share a 3 channel equaliser so you can independently adjust the bass, treble and middle. The overdrive channel also allows you to select between an overdrive setting and a clean/crunch sound for suited to country and light rock.
In addition to the two channels, you can also layer effects on to either channel. Reverb has its own control, ranging from small room reverb to large hall reverbs. The other four effects are built around a single control allowing you to run any one of the effects you like. So you don't have to be reaching down to your Amp to make adjustments, you can also add the (optional) footpedal to switch channels and effects. Just above the multi-effects control is the tuner, which is a welcome addition to the features of the Marshall MG series.
The amplifier also has a headphones socket for silent rehearsals, and a Line In for MP3 players or CD players, so you can play along with your favourite songs or practice using one of our many accompaniment CDs.
Despite having only a 10" speaker and a 30 watt output, this little combo is ideal for playing on your own or in small groups, and still has the classic Marshall sound.
