Customer Rating Not every piano player has access to a drummer and double bassist, but its still worth getting this classic jazz/Bach crossover, as it is a very literal translation from the original recordings. On most pieces you can generally ignore the drums and occassionally fill in the bass bits. However, it is on the improvisations that it is more difficult to maintain the piano jazz chords with a melody AND interest line in the bass.

Customer Rating In response to the first comment, I think the book is designed for Piano, Bass and Drums - not solo piano!!! I have an excellent pianist and bassist (I am the drummer) and this music is fantastic. Very easy to put together and sounds very like the originals!
