Customer Rating It is refreshing that these lovely words by Charles Wesley have been set to a brilliant new tune by Howard Goodall.
It is basically a verse-anthem, with piano, organ or strings accompaniment. The tune is repeated with each verse but sung in canon form in the last verse.
This anthem is relatively easy to learn and well within the reach of the average choir. It is eminently suitable as an anthem for a concert, a wedding. the Eucharist or Evensong. It was sung at my son's wedding and both the congregation and the choir loved it.

Customer Rating This is a real favourite of ours. We have sung it at weddings, concerts and services. The melody is simple yet it builds up to a climax at the very end really well. As a very amateur choir, we have made some small ommissions and we can cope with it very well. A simply divine piece of music.
