Customer Rating A quite excellent collection for the beginner in singing, whether adult or school-age. The repertoire is folkmusic-based, rather than high art, but inventive and tasteful, with both tender serious pieces (The Turtle Dove,) and humour (Food,My Uncle Remus),and a fascinating blend, as in "Caterpillar in a hurry", where Christina Rosetti is set to boogie rhythm! The piano accompaniments are never terribly hard, and always playable without being boring. Most refreshing.
