Just as scales and arpeggios build and sustain intrumental technique, so vocal exercises are the root of good technique for all singers. The exercises in this book are intended to give a useful warm-up and should be practiced throughout the full range of the voice, aiming for a relaxed and even sound quality. All of the exercises in this book can be used for Trinity College Music Examinations.
