Description

In 1993 McCartney was commissioned by EMI Records to compose a major orchestral work to mark EMI's 100th anniversary in the autumn of 1997. Standing Stone premiered in October 1997 in the Royal Albert Hall, London. Celebration is one of the most popular pieces from the work and is scored here for SATB Chorus with optional Piano accompaniment.
