I thought that this book would be really useful as it's packed with examples of the tests and they all come on CD so you can work through them easily. However, it wasn't until I got it home that I found that it doesn't have any answers in it and not all the examples are on the CD! It has the printed music so you can work it out but that's only useful if you have those skills and can guarantee that you will be right. I wouldn't recommend this book unless you have a good teacher to help you with it.

If students are struggling to practice their AB aural tests inbetween lessons, then this is a worthwhile purchase. It contains over 40 examples in each section, with over half of them on the cd and the rest as extra 'live' practice. Some guidance will be needed at first but this is an excellent book, especially for the higher AB grades.
