Customer Rating This book got me interested in playing The Beatles' music and as I have progressed in playing piano and guitar it has provided an interesting base for playing and performing Beatles songs! I agree it is simple but as a starting point for any musician it is fantastic...don't run before you can walk ... this is exactly what this book conveys...

Customer Rating It would be even better if they wrote all the songs in the same keys that they were recorded in!! It's not even as though they have done it to simplify the songs as some for example have been changed from D to Bb both of them have two accidentals in the key signiture anyway, i just don't understand why they did it!! I agree with another review here that they have missed much detail out such as accurate bass lines etc but you can piece together nearly every beatles song from this book thats why it gets 3 stars.

Customer Rating Extremely simplified versions of the Beatles classics. Many notes are missing or just inaccurate (the baseline to Come Together and Hey Jude being examples). The pieces also appear to be cut down, very few occupying more than one page (the entire 'second half' of A Day In The Life is missing, etc.). Would be very good for those looking for some easy Beatles pieces, or those masterful enough to harmonise whilst playing along... but definitely not for those looking to play some 'meaty' Beatles tracks.
