Customer Rating I thought that this book was excellent, it even has my favourite song from the third movie (the steward of Gondor). I love the film and the books and i think the music absolutely captivated JRR Tolkien's magnificent novel. This is a star buy as I can play the pieces and sing the songs at the same time. A must have for all musicians who love lord of the rings, or just to add to a fan's collection.

Customer Rating This book is REALLY good, I play the flute and I found it pretty straight-forward to adapt the vocal score to an octave that suited me. I also have the soundtrack on CD so used that as backing, which was really useful. I would recommend this to anyone who loves LOTR!

Customer Rating This book gives you the full range of Howard Shore's work from the soaring themes for Gondor to the quiet songs for the Elves and capping it off with the final struggle for the Ring with "The End of All Things".
