Rating Review
Customer Rating From the moment the Windows XP computer hooked up to the Casio MIDI keyboard (using a USB MIDI cable, which is more reliable than the sound card game port version) the software rocked.

In no less than an hour I was reading music having had a full intro into piano history, basic theory and how to sit and hold my hands. You just have to accept the American accents, which may put some off.

You play pieces of music in a lesson and are then given quite a few pieces to practice. This is invaluable, particularly compared to learning from a book when you only get an example or two at each level.

The idea you can register different players is great. You can also produce reports to see how well the user has practised the sessions and what his score was - a bit like a remote music teacher.

I thought it might be suitable for my 4 year old, but realistically, it is still addressed to an adult audience so I would recommend not less than 7 years.

BTW. This review was written a day after plugging it in, so I have not fully explored the software yet, but it certainly seems to live up to the advertising.
