A rare find - accurate piano transcriptions! I've had the regular Billy Joel books for some time, but I've always found they lack the detail when it comes to intros and solos. This is a great buy for anyone who is already familiar with his music and wants a little more insight.

Even though this has an intermediate standard, as a music teacher, I found parts of this book quite tricky to master! Having said that, it is sublimely close to the real stuff that Billy plays. I really got into it and learned every single song quickly. I have bought numerous other Billy Joel books for piano over the years, and this stands out on its own. Finally, a series which publishes what they play!
