Rating Review
Customer Rating I am generally not up to the same standard of playing that is required for this book. However, I've conquered one track so far and am trying my second! It's taken a while but it's been good fun. I've had to simplify some parts down a little, but it hasn't made too much of a difference to the overall sound. The pieces may seem daunting to some at first (as with me) but they can be done! Just take your time and be patient. It's worth it in the end!

I love a challenge and I love The Nightmare Before Christmas, I recommend this to anyone who loves this film and plays piano.

Go for it, it's only a tenner!

Customer Rating This collection presents all the songs from the film, and of course they're all brilliant. The accompaniment is arranged perfectly as well, not like some books where it becomes too simplified - in this collection, there is the perfect balance between playability, and retaining most of the nuances the original score presented.

Customer Rating This book is really fantastic. I'm not sure if it was Elfman himself who did these arrangments but whoever did was incredibly loyal to the original score. The pieces aren't too difficult but they are absolutely in no way simplified. In the parts where the melody would have been shouted/spoken rather than sung you don't just find yourself playing a bass line, you play the next most dominant part of the score (particularly noticeable in Oogie Boogies song, superbly arranged). Well worth the money, i'm very happy.
