This black music stand is far superior to the similar red and blue items ordered at the same time (all having the same description and maker). It is well designed and easy to open and close, with a good finish and overall appearance. Good value for money.

Very good quality basic music stand at a reasonable price. Does what it should. However, sometimes a bit of a fiddle to get back in the carry case (have to be careful lining up all the adjustment knobs or the bag won't zip up). Am pleased enough with it to have bought a second one.

I'm 5'4" tall and I would say that at it's maximum height, it's a little on the short side! But it is sturdy.

A good basic music stand. Easy to put up, but also easy to pull poles out completely if you extend it too far. Does the job perfectly adequately, folds up into its own little bag. Good value for money.

Lightweight and easy to assemble, the angle and height of the music support are adjustable and the clips which hold sheet music in place are positive and hold the music firmly, although page turning can be difficult. The reason I only give this 3 stars is that, although folding is straightforward, fitting it into the bag is very tricky.

I liked the stand when I got it. neatly fits into carrier bag for weekly music sessions.
However I did notice that the adjusters were plastic(why?)I had a music stand before and the plastic adjusters to tighten when in position, snapped shortly after purchase.
Sad to say the top part has gone - where the music goes. Won.t stay up. Had to take pliers with me to tighten the screw as the plastic bit broke. Metal needs metal! Someone said I should ask for a replacement . What do you think ? Always been pleased with my purchases from musicroom before - excellent.

Good basic music stand which I have brought as a present for my niece who is just starting out on the violin. My own children have the same version but in different colours. The only downside is that they don't really adjust high enough for my oldest who is a tall 10 year old.

A really good stand but as I'm 5'8" it's too short for playing the flute standing. Fully extended the height is no more than 115cm from floor to bottom of the shelf.

Can't fault it otherwise - I've handed it off to my son!
