Customer Rating A superb book and CD. The book takes you very gently through the very basics. Although designed for children, the easy layout and pictures were fun for me as an adult learner.

Playing along with the CD makes even the most screeching cello playing sound vaguely musical and enabled me to feel I was making music right from the first day. The tunes are from a whole range of styles, including some funky jazz and slow classical.

It takes you through some easy scales too which is useful for learning what each note should sound like. Also includes tracks which you can tune your cello against, so you don't need to buy extra tuning equipment. Highly recommended

Customer Rating Children love this book. The pieces are lively and have interesting (yet simple to play) accompaniments.They love the pictures and enjoy colouring them in.And my adult pupils also enjoy the book.
