Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty have been collaborators in the musical theatre since they first met in the BMI Musical Theatre Workshop in 1983. They have premiered two shows at Lincoln Center Theatre: My Favorite year and the 2002 production of A Man of No Importance, with book by Terrence McNally.
