    Customer Rating What a fantastic book!!!! Although I am not at beginner level, this book has helped me to begin teaching my eight year old daughter, who has had great fun. This book is not just for adults wishing to begin the classical guitar but is also extremely child friendly. The C.D is useful, I only wish we had had this when I began playing over twenty years ago!!!!

    Customer Rating A nice introduction to Classical Guitar basics, plenty of illustrations, explanations of posture, Tirando and Apoyando and the PIMA fingerstyle. A very visual approach to learning, and progess is kept very gradual. However the music theory section on pages 14-15 contains more info than is really needed for this level. Still a good method including a chord finder chart and a very useful further reading list to such books as Frederick Noad's First book of Guitar.
