A challenging, excellent and well organised DVD that offers enough material to last a lifetime. I recommend this to any guitarist looking to develop their style and technique. John Petrucci is a legend!

Very well organized and filmed, complete with warming-up and picking exercices, and speed runs. Petrucci is probably the best 'picker' ever to have lived! You will learn a lot. I did and still do. Don't expect to learn a few licks and scales, that is not the point, rather than the 'fish' he's given you 'fishing' lessons! This DVD doesn't go far on arpeggio technique, sweep technique, legato or right hand tapping technique. It teaches you to be fluent with pick strokes. Over all a great learning tool. Pushing 5 stars!
