Pack is fabulously good value for money, and Valencia is perfectly good guitar for beginners... BUT...The CD provided has NOTHING to do with classical guitar playing. Do NOT under any circumstances follow any of the advice on technique. Find a good specialist CLASSICAL guitar teacher who can show you how to play correctly.

The best starter pack I have come across. A lovely looking and good sounding guitar for a beginner. The footstool is weighty and substantial, more than up to the job. The cary case is basic, but it carries!! The CD is not really any use and I agree with the other reviewer on this point. String winder, useful pitch pipes basic but in tune. Over all worth having for the guitar, bag and footstool.

My son loves this guitar & has been happily playing it daily since it arrived a couple of weeks ago. He did find the DVD helpful in getting started & playing chords & some blues riffs. But he feels that he has already outgrown it. The strings kept going out of tune for the 1st few days but that is only to be expected with a new guitar. The bag is roomy enough not to struggle to get the guitar in. It has a handle but a strap would have been useful. The only let down was the footstool broke the first time it was used :-( Despite this my son says he is very glad he bought it & would recommend it.
