Description

Pre-practice technical exercises for the piano.
The purpose of this book is to help develop strong hands and flexible fingers. The idea is to learn two or three exercises at a time, which should be played each day before practising. Only when these are mastered should you add another. When all in the first group are mastered, the next group may be introduced. Many of these exercises may be transposed to different keys.

Rating Review
Customer Rating Dozen A day Books are great! I've been using them with my students as fingering practices and now that they have a CD accompaniment, the kids love it even more!

Customer Rating This book may have been around for years but it stands the test of time. Great way of introducing beginners to technical exercises and it reinforces the notes they are learning in their tutor book. They particularly like the imaginative titles of each exercise.

Customer Rating Recommended by our daughter's Piano Teacher as an excellent study book for beginners. My eight year old daughter remains enthused so it must be good!

Customer Rating I think this is an excellent first exercise book, particularly for the younger pupil.
They are little 'bite-size' pieces, which do cover a range of useful techniques - and the children enjoy the titles and little pictures too!

Customer Rating I have used the dozen a day series for many years and find them an excellent resource to use alongside a tutor book for extra studies.

Customer Rating A great little book for young beginners

Customer Rating A fantastic collection of technical studies to help with a whole host of techniques and to promote flexibility and strength of hands and fingers. Use notes from F below middle C to the G above middle C (mostly) so can be used by a students pretty much from the outset of lessons. Fun, clear, interesting and effective.

Customer Rating A very useful exercise book for the young learner needing note-reinforcement along the way. Simple - my brighter learners go straight to Dozen a Day Book 1.

It was very easy to find it on the MusicRoom website and it was delivered in 2 days - excellent service as usual.

Customer Rating Lovely little book full of finger-twister exercises making fingers strong and nicely rounded. The pictures help childern imagine the real life physical exercise connected to each activity.
