This is a fantastic book with a great CD accompaniment. It made me feel like part of an orchestra. Good large range of pieces with some tracks on the CD that play some at a slower pace which is a definite plus ( and should be on all CDs I think!!)
Definite good buy that will not leave you disappointed.

The book is compulsory for my daughter but she tells me it's fine. More importantly the service from Musicroom was exemplary!

My daughter who is starting Grade III loves this selection. She recognises many of the tunes which encourages her to play and the parts are accessible for her. The piano accompaniment is also straightforward. A useful source of light relief that encourages playing for pleasure.

A great book full of easily recognisable pieces. The 2 CD's provide a lovely accompaniement; you could imagine yourself in a concert hall. Quite a range of grade standards covered providing something for everybody.

This is great! All those songs you really want to play. They are at intermediate level and nice arrangements. The CDs are excellent and even include slower versions that you can use to practice the quicker pieces.

This is an excellent book with many songs to play. The service from musicroom was also excellent.

This collection of arrangements is a wonderful addition to the violin tutorials and technical materials giving the budding violinist pieces that he or she enjoys and perhaps could perform for friends or at a party. The piano accompaniment is also quite accessible for a young musician or parent who has not played in ages. Many of the pieces provide incentive to work hard on the next grade materials. My son who has just done his grade 1 exam loves Pomp & Circumstance and is looking forward to playing Romeo & Juliet as well as Sheherazad, and many others. The two CDs provide performances as well as play-along tracks, sometimes additional play-along tracks at a practice tempo. Only criticism would be that I find the alphabetical listing of pieces at the back slightly confusing. The CD's apparently follow the order of pieces as they appear in the sheet music.
This collection could also serve as a source for background pieces for musicians playing at wedding receptions or parties, hotels, e.g. harp and violin. Pavane, Gymnopedie, Pachelbel's Canon, Barcarolle are already pieces harpists like to play on such occasions. It is easy to sight-read and sounds good. The accompaniment would be easy to embellish though this would not be necessary.

This was purchased for my young daughter who is playing at grade 4/5 level. She is finding the pieces very enjoyable and light relief from her current exam pieces.
