Plays very well, for its Soprano size and low prize.
After changing the factory-strings to Pure-Tone (bought together with the uke), its good construction came to life - with vibrant acoustics.
The machine-head tuners feels solid, and durable.
The finish of the thing is surpricingly fine - a wonderfull glossy and vibrant surface - together with a fine choice of pink "colour-tone", that also make small boys prefer this seemingly "girlish" coloured instrument.
I am very happy to have bought this, and will do it again.
If paying much more, for a bigger uke (for instance concert- or tenor-size), with "massive" wood - one will get much better and "greater" sound - but for the price and my purpose (small children), this uke rules.

No hesitation buying this for my daughter 3. Her older brother 5 already has one. This is not a toy and introduces children (and adults) to music in a fun way. This instrument has the best spec at this price and should last years. If later they want to learn guitar they have a head start as the chord shapes are the same.
